China Work Permit factsheet
The China Work Permit Program is designed to attract foreign talent and regulate the employment of foreigners within the country. The program is managed by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) and involves a multi-step process that ensures both the employer and the employee meet the legal requirements for employment in China. The application is an employer-led process, which begins with the employer obtaining a Work Permit Notification Letter. With this letter, the applicant can then apply for a Z visa at a Chinese embassy or consulate in their home country. Upon entering China with the Z-visa, the employee must then apply for the Foreigner's Work Permit card and a Residence Permit to legally work and live in China. Our services include the application for employer guarantee qualification, assisting with the Z-visa application, securing the residence permit, arranging family visas, and facilitating renewals in the second year.
